The Drigger's Family.

Oh what fun this session was! I photographed Kristi and Mike's wedding two years ago and now Mike's daughter, Mandee, is one of my beloved employees!!

It's funny what a small world it can be sometimes! Kristi found me because I had added Mandee as a friend on Facebook because I was trying to recruit high school seniors for senior photos. Meanwhile, Kristi's friend, Ellie, had come to me to photograph her baby. Kristi knew it was fate and I was meant to photograph their wedding! Then this spring I had posted on my blog I was looking for an employee. The position had been filled for several months already when Mandee found the post, but she sent me her resume anyways. The day I received it in my inbox was the same day I was going to be letting that employee go! It was perfect timing! And Mandee is a fantastic fit in the studio!!!

I absolutely love the relationship their family has. Mike and Mandee have such a wonderful father/daughter relationship, and Mandee just adores her step-mom Kristi. They are such a happy, fun-loving family you can't help but love to be around them!

So anywho, the whole family came in this past week for family photos, including the dog! Mike was stressing out about the dog the entire time, it was really cute! I am used to having animals in the studio and I know how they react to the environment and they are always fine! We had a great shoot and captured some really great images! Website Update!

If you were trying to find my website and ended up here on my blog instead, it is because I have now started the process of creating a brand new website and it should be up and running by the end of the month!

In the meantime, you may CLICK HERE to view the current (not so updated) website!! Or you may also visit my Facebook page to see what I am up to and view some photo albums.

I can't wait for you to see what I have been working on! My current website just doesn't reflect my personality, style, or studio at all. The work on the site is at least a year or so old, and the layout is just plain ugly! The new site is going to be classy, elegant, and user friendly with recent photos all taken within the last year! I can't wait!!! Stay tuned!

Sean and Sara's Engagement.

This adorable couple came in last week for an engagement session. They had bid on an engagement session and photo guestbook at the Love Is A Cure fundraiser earlier in the year, and are getting married in the spring. They were such a sweet couple, I really enjoyed getting to know them and hear about their upcoming wedding. They really seem to be totally into each other, which makes me all warm and fuzzy!! Cayla's Senior Session.

Cayla came in last week for her senior photos. I photographed her sister's senior photos three years ago, and one of her sister's good friends works for me (Emily O.) Also, her friend Molly was just in a week before her! Such a small world, and I can't believe it's been three years since her sister and Emily graduated!! It was quite chilly out and a little windy the day of her session, but we still went outside, which was a good thing because it was a great day for outdoor photos lighting wise! Here are a couple of my faves!

Morris' One Month Session!

This little guy was SO good for his one month session. He didn't cry once, which is way rare! He is absolutely adorable and has such a cute personality. I have enjoyed getting to know his mom over the past year as well, she is such a fabulous person!! Here is his little sneak peek!

Nolan is 15 months!

I can't get over how fast babies grow up into toddlers! I am sure it is even more amazing for their parents! This little guy is turning into such a little man!! He is so much fun to photograph, and he is soon going to be a big brother too!! Here is a little peek!

The Asher Kids!

I have been photographing the Asher family for about five years now and have really enjoyed watching their family expand and grow! The kids are SO cute! I had a blast with them in the studio!

Their mom, Marya, is a yoga instructor at Golds Gym in Shakopee and I met her while she still had a yoga studio downtown. She now is part of a larger group of women called Muselan (you probably remember seeing lots of their photos on my blog!). We are currently working on an inspirational planner which will be available for purchase very soon!
